The group meets weekly between May and October each year and aims to learn and enjoy a game of golf croquet in the fresh air in pleasant surroundings.

No expertise is needed. Croquet sets are supplied by Luton U3A.

At a typical meeting the equipment is set up, and there is a draw for partners. The group changes opponents after each game. They enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat afterwards, after storing the equipment.

Players should be aware of their own health and the risks of playing any sport and speak with the leader if they are unsure.
