We aim to try to grasp what philosophy is by reading the writings of the great Western Philosophers and to enrich members’ understanding of problems about knowledge, truth, reality, the nature of the mind , etc.

Members need to buy the current textbook, which the group is reading through together. The sections we aim to cover have been decided at our previous meeting. The content is typically difficult, so we are at liberty to stop at any point and hold a discussion. We have a break for refreshments mid-way through the session.
